Recently diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease, our customer and his wife wanted to plan early for the changes they would need to make to their home to ensure they would not need to move.

Having a downstairs toilet room with shower was a requirement, but the current toilet room did not have a shower and the little space available meant it was difficult to add one. It would also need to be suitable for wheelchair use should our client ever require the use of one.

Another requirement from the client’s brief was that it would also be the room used by guests when visiting, so they did not want it to look disabled. By rerouting the soil pipe it enabled the room to be reconfigured and create a wet room with wall hung basin and toilet.

“As a bathroom designer, I am extremely pleased with the result. The room looks beautiful while still meeting the client’s current and possible future needs.” Marie Walker

The clients were very pleased with the result: “We would recommend the company without hesitation.”
