Overall, The Doc M WC pack is a complete pack comprising of a thermostatic basin mixer tap, close coupled WC and cistern, wall mounted basin and grab rails. The pack is perfect for someone who requires/wants more independence, as it gives the user all the tools they need.
The first part of the Doc M pack is a Close Coupled Toilet. The cistern sits on the back of the toilet pan creating a smaller unit. The closed couple toilet negates the need for the cistern to be raised higher up in order to provide a powerful flush. It also means that the toilet itself is smaller, giving more room overall, which is ideal for wheelchair users.
Next, the pack contains a wall-mounted basin, which comes with a thermostatic mixer tap. You are able to pre-select the water temperature, which remains stable for the duration of your wash, so there’s no risk of any burns from a sudden temperature increase and no unpleasant surprises if the temperature suddenly drops. If you stopped the tap, the thermostat would automatically find the exact same temperature when you re-start. If a thermostatic mixer is installed, you can save water and energy. Thermostatic mixer taps pay for themselves over a short period of time.
Lastly, Drop-down Grab Rail(s) are provided. These are located next to the Toilet and the washing basin. This allows for easier movements from the toilet to the washbasin and around the bathroom as a whole as they are situated in suitable locations for the room.
